Today in World displays the major events that happened today in previous years. Events are categorized by History, Birthdays and Deaths. This application has support for India, US, UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland.
It also lists current news from all over world. You can also view news for different categories.
How to use it
*Change the date by clicking on the update icon at the top.
*Share events by holding an event down for a few seconds

Permissions Needed:
*Internet - For obvious reasons. Need internet to pull events off of wikipedia
*Access Network State - To determine whether or not you are connected to the Internet so the app doesn't crash trying to connect to web service when there's no internet connection.
